I write poetry spontaneously and almost never go back to edit (other than to correct any hastily made typos). I aim to achieve exquisite in my work and like to flatter myself that my poetry will still be enjoyed a hundred years from now. This is certainly my creative ethos when writing, wishing to create a legacy for future generations to also enjoy. I feel my poems are a little like seeds trapped within amber, capturing moments of time preserved through words, together with the feelings and emotions from the moment of their creation - Dean Fraser
