The Lancashire Poems (2013)
These tales have been inspired and written about places I have visited in the evocative Red Rose County and the people I encountered along the way. Some of these are people I have met, others from the past brought to life once again through the power of words. So may of these poems from my first collection have gone on to be staples of my live shows. I am so grateful that poems such as Boots 1 and 2, and Come Work in Our Factories have gone on to become part of popular culture.
