I began my quest to learn more about human potential over three decades ago. Taking a year out from my then corporate life, I read hundreds of books, travelled to ancient sacred sites and networked with fellow seekers of wisdom around the world. I never returned to the corporate world. I identify these days as a mixed soup of Pagan Wiccan with Zen Buddhist tendencies! 

Each year I write for around thirty magazines across the world on subjects diverse as dowsing, mindfulness and of course, sharing my poetry.

Dowsing Found Me

Already an avid enthusiast of Astrology and Tarot, in 1992 I sought a deeper understanding to esoteric mysteries I found myself compelled to know more about. Meditating provided some clues where to find my answers, and it is through meditation I arrived in the world of dowsing. 

1993 I started my business The Strawberry Crystal. During the course of two decades I designed a range of dowsing pendulums, crystal healing kits and, through customer demand, wrote my first book Unlock Your Life With Pendulum Dowsing, which went on to sell over ten thousand copies in eighteen months by word of mouth. In 2012, as public talks became predominant, I closed The Strawberry Crystal to focus on my mission in life, standing in front of an expectant audience to communicate with them!

Enter The Quantum Poet

I picked up this moniker on my first UK tour back in 2013. A radio host introduced me as 'Dean Fraser - The Quantum Poet' Why? I don't know to this day! The Quantum Poet does reflect my holistic approach to the way I write poetry, it has to be from the heart otherwise it doesn't work. So perhaps 'The Quantum Poet' was meant to be after all.

I perform a very select thirty poetry shows a year, unlike my first tour which saw me away from home for two hundred days. I don't keep to a fixed 'set' of poems these days, I instinctively feel which poetry collection will work best, and that's what I go with!

Who Is Decanus Fragaria?

Over the past decade I've been writing my more leftfield books under the occult name I got gifted by the moot I belonged to back in the 90's.  

Ghosts, Demons and Psychic Healing Casebook remains, even to this day, my most personally surprising book; it went viral with no promotion whatsoever, becoming the number one best-selling occult title for five weeks running on Amazon worldwide back in 2016 when I wrote it. I've recently updated the book, adding in more background to each story, brand new photos and completing a story I left in the original edition open ended as I needed to return to the location for more insights; for the new edition I returned and although I completed the story, I left with even more mysteries to ponder.

Events

As anyone who has witnessed one of my shows will attest, I give everything of myself at these events. I am asked if I ever get nervous before a show. I am not even aware of myself or what I say when performing, it's kind of like some out-of-body experience, I don't ever get nervous.
